In Orbit Off the Record

Athens' independent music scene takes centre stage once again as In Orbit | Off the Record returns to the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) for three evenings of free live music under the Dome.

Now in its seventh edition, the festival has become a reliable barometer of the city's alternative sound, spotlighting emerging artists and genre-defying acts before they break into the mainstream. This year's programme hands the curatorial reins to some of Athens' most influential independent record stores and labels, each presenting a distinct snapshot of the music currently shaping the capital's creative underground.

Across three nights, audiences can expect everything from synth-pop and electronica to darkwave, contemporary pop and experimental sounds. More than a concert series, In Orbit offers a chance to discover the artists, labels and communities driving one of the most dynamic periods in Athens' music scene.
The setting adds to the experience. Held beneath the futuristic Dome in Stavros Niarchos Park, the festival unfolds within one of the city's most important cultural hubs.
