Athens-Texas virtual study abroad programme from Alternative Athens

Alternative Athens has partnered with Texas A&M University, on a very innovative project: a virtual study abroad experience between

Athens, Greece & College Station, Texas.  The goal is to immerse Texas college students into Greek culture over a semester long course. Students will view pre-recorded tours and participate in live events and interactions, such as a mythological storytelling walk, a Greek cooking lesson, a graffiti art lesson, and even an Olympic games workout! This is also a research project that compares how people learn about culture through virtual study programs versus traditional travel abroad, so everyone is looking forward to the results of this pioneering adventure!
