Plásmata 3: We’ve met before, haven’t we?
Back at Pedion tou Areos, Onassis Stegi returns with Plásmata 3 and this time, the boundary between reality and illusion completely dissolves. For 20 days, plasmata (Greek for creatures) take over the park, transforming it into something between a dreamscape and a glitch in the everyday matrix—where digital beings, sculptural riddles, and uncanny totems gently disrupt the familiar rhythms of your daily stroll.
Spread discreetly across the greenery like fragments of a shared dream, 25 works by Greek and international artists blur the lines between digital and analog, real and imagined, memory and hallucination. But the surreal doesn’t just live in the artworks, it’s in the very bones of the park itself. A place that pretends to be wild but is carefully designed. A jungle, a haven, a lucid dream you can wander through on your lunch break.
The exhibition also features a series of talks, screenings, DJ sets and live music performances, along with pop-up bars and street food trucks.
Plásmata 3 doesn’t ask you to choose between digital and analog. It invites you to play without worrying whether what you’re seeing is real, remembered, or reimagined.
