Onassis Dance Days 2026
Onassis Dance Days returns to Onassis Stegi in February 2026, bringing together contemporary dance works that explore the space between the familiar and the unfamiliar. Over four days, the festival presents performances and installations that reflect on origin, family, memory, and chosen forms of kinship, using the body as a site where personal history, imagination, and collective experience intersect. Spread across the Main Stage, Upper Stage, and the experimental -1 space, the programme unfolds from early evening into the night, inviting audiences to move between different choreographic worlds.
This year’s edition features NÔT by Marlene Monteiro Freitas, an internationally acclaimed work that opened the Avignon Festival in 2025, alongside new creations by Onassis AiR Fellows Efthimios Moschopoulos and Katerina Foti, as well as Elena Antoniou’s ODE and Efi Gousi’s video installation Tectonic Riders. Together, the works form a dense and varied landscape of ritual, abstraction, autobiography, and embodied storytelling, where dance becomes a tool for questioning how identities are inherited, constructed, or reinvented.
