From the timeless themes of Time of the Gypsies and Underground to the beloved melodies that found new life with Greek lyrics, the concert brings together the full spectrum of Bregović’s work: joy, nostalgia, rhythm and celebration.
With a career spanning film scores, orchestral works and collaborations across cultures, Bregović remains one of the most distinctive voices of contemporary Balkan sound. His Athens performance features eleven musicians on stage and includes highlights from Three Letters from Sarajevo, his tribute to his hometown and its multicultural heritage. It’s a night that blends tradition and reinvention, inviting the audience into a shared musical experience that feels both familiar and deeply alive.
