Diane Morgan: In conversation with Afroditi Panagiotakou
Diane Morgan, the multi BAFTA and Emmy nominated actress, writer and director, comes to the Main Stage of Onassis Stegi for an evening of sharp humour and candid storytelling. Known worldwide for her deadpan alter ego Philomena Cunk, Morgan has shaped some of British television’s most recognisable satirical moments, from Cunk on Shakespeare and Cunk on Britain to the globally acclaimed Cunk on Earth. Her career also includes hit series such as Mandy, Motherland, After Life and the satirical specials Death to 2020 and Death to 2021.
In conversation with Afroditi Panagiotakou, she reflects on her unexpected path into comedy, the odd jobs that shaped her early years, and the craft behind her unique style. It is a chance to meet one of the UK’s most distinctive comic voices up close in a night filled with humour, insight and irresistible wit.
