Roma Gallery hosts the retrospective exhibition of the internationally acclaimed artist Opy Zouni. Born in Cairo, where she started her studies, she moved to Athens in the 60s to study at the Athens School of Fine Arts under the eminent artist and professor Yiannis Moralis. Visitors will have the chance to admire and explore her work in an exhibition that spans from 1970 to 2007 with paintings, sculptures and installations. Zouni was an essential representative of 20th century geometric abstraction, creating optical illusions, using strong colours and sharp outlines while sustaining an ongoing sense of time fluidity. The artist has achieved more than 30 solo exhibitions both in Greece and abroad and her artworks are displayed in noteworthy museums around the world and in private collections.
