Nights of Classical Music
Classical music buffs can enjoy the transportative pleasures of a live concert in the stately surrounds of Athens’ Gennadius Library over four nights in September. Now for the even better news? You won’t pay a cent. Performing at the evening concert series is Curtis on Tour, a global touring initiative that offers orchestral music students “real world” professional experience next to accomplished alumni. Choose from vocal, chamber music or piano recitals or catch all four different performances. You can check out the programme here. Tickets will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis beginning an hour before each concert. The organisers are expecting high demand based on previous year’s events, so get down there early!
