Manchester. Home to Sex Pistols, Joy Division, New Order, The Smiths, Happy Mondays, The Stone Roses and Oasis. How does one complete against these titans? Well, Tim Burgess did with The Charlatans. The underdog band from Madchester carried the brip-pop torch through the 90s to both critical and commercial success and remain in the spotlight up to this day, 12 albums later. Burgess, being the true untiring artist that he is, moved on to solo releases, collaborations and three books on the subjects he loves most: himself (his autobiography), vinyl collecting and the creative process behind songwriting. The charismatic frontman is the guest of the SNFCC Sessions for an open talk followed by a DJ set with a free entrance.
