This is Athens - City Festival is back for its third edition this May with free admission*. The biggest annual spring festival in the Greek capital will take place throughout May and will even be stealing a few days from June. You see, this year's programme proved to be so packed, we couldn't possibly squeeze it into just 31 days. Thoroughly designed with a sustainable mindset, the festival’s rich agenda includes more than 250 events that will take place all over Athens in more diverse areas than ever before. A visit to any Athenian museum is an experience in its own right, and one that doesn't end with the admiration of the exhibits on display. Our city’s museum shops and cafés are just as enjoyable.

For yet another year, TiACF offers visitors the chance to book a table at some of the finest museum restaurants in the Greek capital. For two nights in May, prominent Athenian chefs will be serving their delectable creations paired with premier Greek wine etiquettes. These tantalising pairings await you at the Museum of Contemporary Art Athens (15/05, 9 pm) and the Benaki Museum (20/05, 8.30 pm), . These nights are always in high demand, so make sure to book your table as soon as you've finished reading this.
