As most music festivals and concerts have been cancelled or re-scheduled for 2021, Athens almost ran out of live performances this summer. Leave it up to Athens Municipality to save the day. Technopolis will be the grounds for this summer's longest running series of live concerts, which although mostly in Greek, are one of the best bets around for socializing, dancing and coming as close as one can—pun intended—to the Greek summer concert experience. Starting July 15 up to late September, 50 concerts will take place at the landmark cultural venue of the Gazi neighbourhood ranging from Greek folk, to hip-hop, jazz, metal and even a Leonard Cohen tribute, all of which will also be streamed online.
All events will take place under strict social dinstancing measures.
