If 1987 belonged to Dirty Dancing, the last few years have been all about Bachata - the red-hot Latin American dance and music craze that fuses African and European elements. Give it a whirl (see what we did there) at a major three-day bachata dance and music festival headed Athens' way in late September. Professional dancers and DJs from around the world will stage seminars and all-day lessons followed by dance parties that spin out into the early hours (there'll also be a live link-up from the States with bachata idol Kewin Cosmos). Go to learn something new or polish up your existing form, and meet fellow bachata converts from around the globe. You never know what might happen!
