Quotidian Life
Who among us has never wished of capturing the moment? Or of magically altering our surroundings in a moment in time, so that everything sits perfect with accordance to our perception of the occasion? Daniel Castonguay's street photography acts on that universal desire. The acclaimed Canadian photographer challenges the rules of his craft by processing his imagery to illustrate the mood of the minute. The effect combines simple, everyday moments with Castonguay's state of mind, hence the title of his latest series, Quotidian Life.
