Plisskën Festival Returns to Athens
This September, Plisskën Festival is back – and it's turning the heart of Athens into a full-blown festival village. On 12 & 13 September, music lovers from all over will gather for two packed days of sounds and genre-blurring performances.
Expect stages with their own distinct energy – from gritty electronic beats and darkwave atmospheres to bold synth pop and punk-fuelled anthems. This year’s edition is all about unexpected collaborations, and serious party vibes.
The live lineup is seriously stacked this year. South London’s punk poet King Krule leads the charge with his signature raw intensity, while Berlin-based duo Brutalismus 3000 bring their fierce, industrial club energy to the stage.
Aussie favourites Confidence Man promise a set full of unapologetic 90s-inspired dance pop, and rising star KI/KI delivers high-octane techno straight from the Dutch underground.
They’re joined by a genre-defying mix of international acts including TOMM¥ €A$H, synth-pop icon John Maus, the energetic Getdown Services, French newcomers Jersey, and Athens-based darkwave duo Selofan – with plenty more still to be announced.
And that’s not all – the decks will be spinning into the night with sets from some of the most exciting names in electronic and techno: Héctor Oaks, John Talabot, Daria Kolosova, Eris Drew & Octo Octa, Paula Tape, Chloé Robinson, Toccororo, and more.
