Opeth & Mother of Millions
The Swedish masters of progressive metal return to Athens for a one-night takeover of the City of Athens Lycabettus Theatre. Celebrating 30 years of Rockwave Festival, Opeth take the stage with their signature mix of heavy riffs, shifting time signatures and moody, melodic depths.
Touring their new album The Last Will & Testament — a dark, complex concept record and their first to reintroduce death metal vocals in over a decade — the band promises a set as layered and unexpected as their discography. Expect the unexpected, but prepare for something loud, emotional and expertly delivered.
Joining them are Greek post-prog favourites Mother of Millions, a band known for immersive live shows and an atmospheric sound that blends precision with raw intensity.
The setting? Athens' mountaintop open-air theatre, with the city lights below and distortion in the sky.
