On New Year’s Eve, it’s Syntagma Square, the city’s most iconic square, that comes alive with music, rhythm, and a sense of togetherness. Transformed into the vibrant heart of Athens' celebrations, the square fills with festive energy as the final hours of 2025 fade away. We’ll say goodbye to the old year in grand style and welcome 2026 with open arms. With the City of Athens Philharmonic Orchestra leading a spectacular concert, followed by live music and dance, the night will be filled with festive magic, an unforgettable blend of joy, lights, and laughter that’s as Instagrammable as it is emotional.
