London Philharmonic Orchestra – Paavo Järvi – Alexandre Kantorow
The Spring Festival opens in style with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and acclaimed conductor Paavo Järvi. The programme features Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 2, performed by Alexandre Kantorow, the first French winner of the Tchaikovsky Competition, alongside the rarely heard triple-concerto moment for violin, cello and piano.
The evening concludes with Sibelius’s Symphony No. 2, building towards a powerful finale that celebrates spring as a symbol of hope and freedom.
