Release Athens Festival 2022: Judas Priest & Cradle of Filth, The Dead Daisies
Anyone up for a night of symphonic black metal by the sea, raise your hand in horn sign. British titans Judas Priest will sweep the Water Plaza crowds, as commanded by Release Festival this year - the festival’s metal line-up is off the hook this summer season - in celebration of their 50th anniversary. Keywords of the day are loud, leather, black, extravagant, horror, gothic, filth and daisies, Filth as in Cradle of Filth, and Daisies as in The Dead Daisies (you weren’t expecting vivid ones now were you?), the two bands that complete the day’s line-up.
