It can be thrilling to just let loose and allow the bop of jazz music to carry you away, but if you decide to study it closer, jazz can also lead you down the most complex acoustic mazes. Here to accompany the paintings of Picasso, Van Gogh, Monet, Francis Bacon and many more, that adorn the walls of the B&E Goulandris Foundation in Pangrati, the museum’s jazz series returns. And just at the right time when balmy outdoor evenings have started making room for indoor entertainment. The first three acts of the season consist of tributes to the genre’s essential themes and composers: Dimitris Kalantzis Quartet - Tribute to Jazz Noir, Spyros Manesis & Spiral Trio - Tribute to Nino Rota and Stavros Lantsias Quartet - Tribute to Ennio Morricone.
