Walking around the SNFCC will always get you involved in some sort of free activity, from sports to an outdoor movie screening. Actually walking around the centre though, perimetrically that is, is only a thing when a photography exhibition is showcased. And a very powerful one is being exhibited this summer. Parontes (Greek for Present) is a photojournalism exhibition by non profit organization iMEdD that showcases 43 works of reporters and photojournalists, who captured everyday life during the lockdown, as well as the return to “normality”. People on the front line who were there every day, who were always present during the last few months, are documented and celebrated in this direct dialogue in public space that also includes revealing videos and live texts. You can meet everyone that was Present at parontes.imedd.org.
