Fragments: Group Exhibition at the Café of the National Archaeological Museum
Athens is a living gallery where every street and corner hums with stories of ancient heritage and vibrant creativity. This summer, the National Archaeological Museum café hosts the group exhibition Fragments. Four masterful painters and designers engage in a delicate dialogue between past and present, reinterpreting classical beauty through sketches and sculptures that capture both timeless elegance and the fleeting nature of human grace.
Beyond the exhibition, the museum itself is home to world-renowned treasures — the golden Mask of Agamemnon, the serene Heracles of Antikythera, and the astonishing Antikythera Mechanism, an ancient marvel of technology. These masterpieces anchor the city’s rich narrative, connecting visitors to millennia of history and artistry. Until August 5th, this immersive experience extends into the café.
