Arab Strap
It’s been sixteen years since the release of Arab Strap’s “The Last Romance” in 2005. Quite a fitting album title and one that allowed the band’s fans to assume that this would be the final work of the Scottish indie-rockers. To their surprise, Aidan Moffat and Malcolm Middleton announced their comeback with their stunning 2021 album, “As Days Get Dark”, one which music media proceeded to name “the best of their career”. Wry, humorous and confrontational as ever the dark duo will drop by Athens for a single show at the city’s rock shelter, Gagarin 205. The announcement for this show was made in spring, so if you’re reading this and are eager to attend you might wanna act fast.
