100 Years Takis

The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre marks the centenary of Takis with four of his outdoor sculptures—each one a quiet encounter with energy, magnetism and movement. Installed across the SNFCC’s grounds, these works invite you to pause, look up, and feel the invisible forces that shape the world around us.
It’s a fitting tribute to the Greek artist who made science poetic and public space his canvas. And while the SNFCC gives us a breezy, kinetic glimpse of Takis in motion, those wanting the full story can head to the Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation, where a major exhibition traces his work in depth.
