Mit freundlicher Genehmigung: Megaron The Athens Concert Hall

Easter Concert 2026

For a change of pace, the annual Easter Concert at the Megaron is one of the city’s musical traditions, and this year’s programme is set to be a truly reflective experience.

The Athens State Orchestra joins forces with two full choirs and a stellar line-up of international soloists for an evening that moves from the intimate to the epic. The night opens with Schubert’s "Unfinished" Symphony, a piece of haunting spirituality that sets the tone perfectly. From there, the mood shifts into Benjamin Britten’s Sinfonia da Requiem, a powerful, anti-war masterpiece, before reaching a crescendo with Bruckner’s Te Deum.

The Christos Lambrakis Hall will echo with the sheer scale of the performance of these breathtaking choral masterpieces, led by the brilliant young conductor Constantinos Terzakis.
