A new solo exhibition by Thodoris Rousopoulos opens at a.antonopoulou.art, exploring anxiety as a fundamental condition of existence. Moving between figures and landscapes, the works examine the relationship between the self, others, and the world at large, translating inner tension into fragmented forms, distorted bodies, and unsettled spaces.
People and environments appear broken apart and reassembled with difficulty, resisting balance and certainty. Drawing on a logic that flirts with absurdity and on the Heraclitean idea that unity emerges through contradiction, Rousopoulos treats anguish not as despair but as a force that carries the possibility of connection, reconciliation, and hope.
