Antrea Tzourovits: Empty Hums
Bernier Eliades Gallery presents Empty Hums, the first solo exhibition in Athens by Antrea Tzourovits. The show brings together new sculptural and installation works that invite visitors into a quiet, tactile environment where material, memory, and space are closely intertwined. Moving between sculpture and painting, interior and exterior, the works resist fixed meanings and instead remain open, suspended, and experiential.
Rooted in manual labour and personal memory, Tzourovits’ practice draws on post minimalist approaches, emphasising touch, corporeality, and the emotional charge of materials. The title refers not to sound but to an in between state, full of potential yet deliberately undefined. The exhibition opens on Thursday 12 February with the artist present.
