Bicep Live

Orbital, Underworld, The Chemical Brothers, UNKLE, Fatboy Slim, The Prodigy, and many more British electronic acts join in on this legendary line-up of artists who have been preaching the UK's dance gospel for the last four decades. Arguably, this generation's torchbearers are Bicep, the Belfast-born/London-based duo of Matt McBriar and Andy Ferguson. Taking off in 2008 with their music blog days and landing amongst the heavyweights of Ninja Tune records, they have headlined every major festival in Europe with their live audiovisual shows.

The pandemic deprived us of their last scheduled show in Athens as part of Plisskën Festival, but the team behind Athens' genre-bending fiesta, thankfully, persevered. Bicep will perform live in Athens on April 30th in an all-night event, as the following day is Protomagia (1st May, Labour Day). Supporting acts include a DJ set by Romy (the lead singer of British indie supergroup The XX), Glasgow's cult clubbing heroes Optimo (Espacio), and Berlin-based French producer Julienne Dessagne aka Fantastic Twins.
