A busy Fall for Erasmus

Erasmus is delighted to share the highlights of their recent conferences held in the vibrant city of Athens. The events were marked by exceptional engagement, drawing professionals and experts from diverse fields. 

1.    IFFS World Congress (IFFS 2023)

The 2023 International Federation of Fertility Societies (IFFS 2023) World Congress was held from September 10-13, 2023, at the Megaron International Conference Centre in Athens. Organized with meticulous planning and dedication by the team of Erasmus Conferences & Events S.A. the event unfolded under the theme "Exploring New Horizons in Fertility Care."

The event featured various stimulating activities, including keynote lectures, insightful panel discussions, and the society’s signature trilogy sessions, all of which delved deeply into the realm of innovations in male and female infertility.

With 600 participants from 71 different countries, the congress fostered international collaboration and knowledge exchange. Noteworthy were the 5 Great Debates, 3 Endowed lectures, and 2 American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) hands-on sessions, each addressed to a small group of participants, ensuring a personalized and enriching experience.

Moreover, the academic pursuits extended beyond the main event, with 5 pre-congress courses hosted at the Divani Caravel Hotel.

As part of its Professional Congress Organizing services, Erasmus S.A. orchestrated a comprehensive social media campaign for the IFFS World Congress, spanning LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram which effectively facilitated successful multi-level communication for the event.

2.    ISIN Educational Course 2023

The 13th Annual Event of the International Society of Intraoperative Neurophysiology, the 2023 ISIN Educational Course, held from October 16th to 18th in Athens brought together a diverse and esteemed audience of neurophysiologists, neurologists, anesthesiologists, neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, otorhinolaryngology/ENT surgeons, physicians from various specialties, clinical scientists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals interested in Intraoperative Neurophysiology.

A special highlight of the event, the hands-on sessions, offered a unique opportunity for attendees to delve deep into specialized training. The sessions were structured around progressive rotations, ensuring comprehensive learning experiences.

We were also honored to host the renowned Greek American scientist Stamatios (Tom) Krimigis, a leading authority in the field of space exploration, as an honorary speaker. His presentation was a beacon of inspiration, around the topics of exploration environment, economy and the survival of Spaceship Earth.

3.    SEGM 2023 Conference

The SEGM 2023 Conference, themed "Evolution and Strategic Choices," was held at the Athens Conservatoire on October 19-20, 2023.

We were honored to have distinguished government officials addressing the conference audience , including Dimitrios Papastergiou, Minister of Digital Governance, Christina Alexopoulou, Deputy Minister of Transport to the Infrastructure and Transport Ministry, Nikolaos Papathanasiou, Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance, Theodoros Skylakakis, Minister of Environment and Energy and Nikolaos Tagaras Deputy Minister for the Environment and Energy. Their insights illuminated key discussions on the role of Greek consulting companies in the country's development, the green-resilient and digital transition, social parameters of infrastructure projects, and the global presence of Greek consulting firms.
