Strengthening the National MICE Strategy: Our Participation in Philoxenia - Hotelia 2025
From 14 to 16 November, the heart of the Greek tourism industry beat in Thessaloniki at the Philoxenia - Hotelia exhibition. Marking its 40th anniversary, this year's event welcomed over 20,000 visitors from 47 countries, signalling a continued effort to build stronger ties between tourism and gastronomy. The exhibition, held at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Centre, hosted more than 300 exhibitors from Greece and 21 other countries, including Armenia, Egypt, Bosnia, Georgia, Jordan, Indonesia, Turkey, and Portugal. It proved to be a productive platform for networking and business development, facilitating more than 4,350 scheduled B2B meetings and creating significant opportunities for future collaborations.
The Greek Meetings Alliance: A Necessary Synergy
This is Athens Convention & Visitors Bureau was present as a co-exhibitor at the dedicated stand of the Greek Meetings Alliance (GMA), alongside the Thessaloniki Convention Bureau and the Hellenic Association of Professional Congress Organizers (HAPCO & DES).
