Erasmus: Ready, Set, Meet: past and upcoming conferences that bring scholars together, spark ideas, and inspire action

Over the past few weeks, the team of Erasmus Conferences & Events has had the privilege of organizing several impactful conferences.

September found our office occupied with the 120th Anniversary Commemorative Event of Orthopedic Surgery, hosted at the University of Athens, an institution in which academic excellence is promoted. In our capital, the 6th Congress of Podiatry and Podology also took place in October, fostering scientific and academic knowledge.

Travelling to the North of Greece, the 7th Advances in Circulating Tumor Cells meeting: “Liquid Biopsy: from Bench to Bedside”, materialized in beautiful Thessaloniki, emphasizing on the latest advances on liquid biopsy research and clinical applications in many types of cancer.

The highlight of that busy autumn was the 38th Congress of the International Union against Sexually Transmitted Infections. We were more than pleased to host this important event, which provided a valuable platform for meaningful dialogue and the exchange of knowledge on a global scale.

Beyond the Greek borders, we were proud to deliver the 11th World Congress of Neuroendoscopy in Graz, Austria—a new destination for our company—as part of our long-standing support to the International Federation of Neuroendoscopy in our role as core PCO and association management partner. The event provided an excellent platform to explore the latest technological innovations, surgical advancements, and clinical practices in the field.

Each event had its own unique focus, but all shared a common purpose: to bring people together, exchange ideas, and build momentum for what comes next.

Looking ahead, as the last months of the year are upon us, our office is finishing this year with active productivity. Athens is hosting at the end of October the 4th Congress of the Actuarial Association of Greece. The conference has now established itself as a key reference point for the actuarial community in Greece, bringing together professionals and academics in an open and constructive dialogue.

Meanwhile, in Tübingen, Germany, our team is coordinating an interdisciplinary workshop on Neurosurgery - the 7th International Workshop of Ultrasound in Pediatric Neurosurgery - bringing together experts from various medical fields to foster collaboration and accelerate scientific breakthroughs.

The end of the year holds many academic and scholar opportunities, in Athens and beyond. These international engagements exemplify our company’s passion for connecting people and ideas worldwide.
