A Vision with Commitment: Antonia Alexandrou, new President of HAPCO &DES
We are proud to announce that CONVIN’s Managing Director, Antonia Alexandrou, has been elected President of HAPCO & DES for the 2025–2028 term. Her appointment is not only a recognition of her longstanding and substantial contribution
to the meetings industry but also a reflection of the vision she shares:
- for the development of conference tourism in Greece
- for the support of the scientific community
- for the extrovert strategy that characterizes both CONVIN and HAPCO & DES.
Just as she consistently invests in CONVIN’s growth, she approaches her institutional role with long-term focus, a concrete strategy, and a commitment to elevating the quality of the industry as a whole.
Work that Delivers: Two More Successful Conferences by CONVIN
The first half of 2025 is already showcasing tangible results from our strategic efforts:
CAA2025, April 7–11 | Athens
The Computer Applications and Quantitative Methods in Archaeology (CAA)—one of the most prestigious international conferences in the field of cultural technology—was hosted this year in Athens, with CONVIN as the official PCO.
With the participation of academics, researchers, and professionals from around the world, the event highlighted Athens’ role as a hub for innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration.
14th Panhellenic Congress of Occupational Therapy, May 10–12 | Athens
Under the theme ''Human Occupation: Health and Justice in Everyday Life,''this year's congress of the Panhellenic Association of Occupational Therapists reminded us that we are living in a globally diverse era. On one hand, we witness
unprecedented technological advancement and its impact on our daily lives. On the other, millions of people still lack equal access to essential sectors, such as healthcare, that ensure dignified living conditions.
Looking to Europe: CONVIN at ECBIP Lisbon
Our international footprint continues to grow. In early May, our team participated in the 8th European Congress on Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology (ECBIP) in Lisbon, in our capacity as an Association Management Company.
This milestone marks a strengthening of our international role, enhanced networking with global associations and institutions, and continued development of our know- how in supporting health-focused scientific events and organizations.
Looking Ahead: Our Goal is Impact and Sustainable Growth
Every successful event, every new collaboration, and every international presence reinforces CONVIN’s role as:
- A pillar of support for science
- An active contributor to economic growth through conference tourism
- An ambassador for Greece in the global landscape of scientific events.
We move forward with steady steps, building trust, delivering quality, and opening new paths for progress—always with people, knowledge, and collaboration at the heart of everything we do.
