Athens Hosts the MTS Globe & OTS Globe Get Together 2026

From 23 to 26 June 2026, Athens hosted the annual international corporate event of the MTS Globe Group “Get Together Event 2026” at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. This major assembly brought together more than 300 senior decision-makers, including representatives from European tour operators that control over 80% of European tourism distribution. The gathering also included executives from the group's incoming business arms and its B2B hotel trading division, OTS Globe.

The 2026 edition held particular significance as it coincided with the 35th anniversary of MTS Globe Greece. The event operated as a highly focused commercial forum for delegates representing 26 source markets across 23 countries. The programme featured two days of pre-scheduled meetings and speed-networking sessions. These structured interactions allowed participants to evaluate market dynamics, negotiate future contracts and develop further collaboration frameworks.

Destination Showcase and Local Integration

Following the formal business agenda, the final day transitioned into a destination showcase, featuring a cruise to the Argosaronic islands of Aegina and Agistri. The visit introduced international buyers directly to regional traditions, cultural heritage and local products, integrating the tourism supply chain with local communities.
