AIDA: 6th Panhellenic Cotton Conference

On Wednesday, April 1, 2026, the “6th Panhellenic Cotton Conference” was held at the Benaki Museum / Pireos 138, in Athens. The conference was organized by the Inter-Branch Organization of Greek Cotton in collaboration with ELGO-DIMITRA, with AIDA as the organizing company. The conference was under the auspices of the Ministry of Rural Development and the Region of Attica.

AIDA, as a Professional Conference Organizer (PCO), provided end-to-end management of the conference, playing a pivotal role in its overall success. Most notably, AIDA’s cutting-edge audiovisual equipment featured a real-time AI Interpretation service that left participants impressed by its remarkable speed and precision, elevating the overall attendee experience.

The conference was attended by more than 250 participants. During the conference proceedings, representatives of the political leadership, Members of the European Parliament, institutional bodies, and key international cotton organizations—including the Bremen Cotton Exchange and the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC)—as well as representatives of agricultural cooperatives, producers, and ginners, discussed key issues concerning Greek cotton cultivation.
