A Creative and International First Half of 2026 for ERA Congresses & Events
The first half of 2026 was a particularly busy one for the ERA Congresses & Events team, with 46 projects and events, including 26 congresses, 13 corporate events and 7 incentive trips.
Every project had its own identity and requirements. Some involved months of preparation, while others called for quick decisions, flexibility and immediate action. They all shared the same goal: to create a seamless and meaningful experience for organisers, partners and participants.
The 8 international events delivered during this period held a special place in our activity. Through these projects, we welcomed scientists, professionals and business leaders from different countries, while also supporting events held both in Greece and abroad.
For us, every international event is an opportunity to showcase Greece as a modern, welcoming and reliable destination for congresses and professional meetings. From Athens and Thessaloniki to smaller destinations across the country, every location offers its own character, experiences and potential to host events with a distinctive identity.
At the same time, our involvement in projects abroad strengthens our team’s international experience and allows us to grow through different markets, partnerships and requirements. The value of an event extends far beyond the venue itself. It reaches hospitality, transportation, the local economy, visitor experiences and the lasting impression delegates take home with them.
Behind the figures are the people and the relationships of trust we build with scientific societies, organisations, corporations and professional associations. The positive feedback we receive following each project is our greatest reward and the motivation to continue working with the same care and commitment.
Although summer is already here, ERA’s activity continues. Our Travel & Ticketing Department remains fully operational, while our Congress Department is already preparing the autumn season and our upcoming projects.
