5 Years, 5 Chefs, 5 Courses! NYX Rooftop Throws the Ultimate 5 Year Anniversary Celebration Under the Athenian Sky

This week, Athens´ favorite rooftop destination marked half a decade of culinary mastery and even better memories with a one-night-only celebration that we won't stop talking about anytime soon. The theme of the night? "5 Years, 5 Chefs, 5 Courses."

To celebrate the big milestone in style, NYX Executive Chef Dimitris Kotsalis called up four of the culinary scene's most brilliant minds: Pavlos Kyriakis, Dimos Samourakis, Grigoris Kikis, and Manolis Stithos. Together, this all-star lineup teamed up to create an exclusive five-course tasting menu. Each chef put their own spin on a single signature dish, and let’s just say, every single bite was an absolute masterpiece.

But NYX made sure the night wasn’t just about the mouth-watering food, it was a full-on treat for the senses. While guests sipped their cocktails, they were totally mesmerized by Mizuki Imamura, a certified Shihan (that’s a Master License holder!) in traditional Japanese calligraphy (Shodo) from the prestigious Iohoku Shodo Association in Japan. Watching her create beautiful, flowing art live on fans that guests took with them in real-time brought such a unique and electric energy to the space.

And you can’t have a proper birthday party without a killer soundtrack, right? Deecon Events and LOOPÉ absolutely delivered on that front, keeping the cosmopolitan energy high. They set the perfect mood with a fantastic DJ set that blended seamlessly into an ultra- cool live looping session, keeping the good vibes rolling late into the night. Between the unforgettable five-course dinner, the mesmerizing live art, the great music, and those unbeatable views of the lit-up Acropolis, NYX’s fifth birthday was the perfect reminder of why it’s one of the absolute best spots in the city.
