IOSCO - Committee on Enforcement and the Exchange of Information (C4)

From 21 to 23 October 2025, Athens will host a high-level meeting of IOSCO Committee 4, bringing together securities regulators from around the world to advance international cooperation in financial market enforcement.

Held at the Royal Olympic Hotel, in the heart of the city and overlooking iconic ancient landmarks, the meeting will provide a platform for global authorities to exchange expertise and strengthen collaboration on cross-border regulatory challenges.

Committee 4 of IOSCO (International Organization of Securities Commissions) focuses on detecting and preventing violations of securities laws and regulations. A key pillar of its work is the IOSCO Multilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MMoU), the international benchmark for consultation, cooperation, and information sharing among securities regulators.

The meeting underscores IOSCO’s ongoing commitment to safeguarding financial markets through transparency, accountability, and strong enforcement networks.

By hosting this significant event, Athens continues to demonstrate its growing role as a destination for high-level dialogue on global financial governance.
