SuSCHemE – SUSTENS2: Sustainable Chemical Engineering Systems

From 28 to 30 June 2026, Athens will host SuSChemE-SUSTENS 2 – Sustainable Chemical Engineering Systems, an international conference dedicated to sustainability and innovation in chemical and process engineering.

This special edition unites two established series — SuSChemE (“Sustainable Systems & Chemical Engineering”, supported by the Sustainability Section of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering – EFCE) and SUSTENS 2 (supported by the SUSTENS HUB platform) — under a joint programme focused on systems thinking and sustainable transformation across engineering disciplines.

The scientific agenda will address key emerging topics, including green and sustainable technologies, biotechnology engineering systems, Power-to-X and clean energy solutions, AI-driven engineering, advanced industrial processes, and safe-and-sustainable-by-design materials and processes.

Researchers, academics, industry professionals and graduate students are invited to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations, with publication opportunities in peer-reviewed proceedings and selected journal special issues.

Organised with the professional support of ERA as Professional Congress Organiser (PCO), the conference offers an international platform for scientific exchange and collaboration in the heart of Athens, Greece.
