37th European Crystallographic Meeting - ECM37

In August 2028, Athens, Greece, will host the 37th European Crystallographic Meeting (ECM37), a premier event in structural science and crystallography.

Organised by the European Crystallographic Association (ECA), the ECM series is the flagship forum for the European crystallography community, offering researchers a platform to present advances in crystal structure analysis, methodology, instrumentation, materials science, biology, chemistry, and physics. ECM conferences are held annually in years without an International Union of Crystallography (IUCr) Congress.

ECM37 will gather leading academics, researchers, industry specialists, and early-career scientists from Europe and beyond. The programme will include plenary lectures, microsymposia organised by ECA interest groups, poster sessions, and networking opportunities to foster scientific exchange and collaboration across disciplines.

Organised with the professional support of ERA as Professional Congress Organiser (PCO), the congress highlights Athens as a major hub for international scientific events, with over 1,000 delegates expected to participate in this dynamic forum for cutting-edge research and professional interaction.
