Intersections III: Ruthless Reality

Independent gallery a.antonopoulou.art presents Intersections III: Ruthless Reality, the third instalment in an ambitious group exhibition series exploring how visual art responds to a turbulent world. Curated by Angeliki Antonopoulou, this edition turns its focus toward the relentless pace of the historical present, examining how creators grapple with climate anxiety, rapid technological shifts, geopolitical conflict, and social fracture. Rather than treating art as a detached escape, the show frames each piece as a direct, unfiltered dialogue with modern life.

The exhibition brings together a compelling mix of influential Greek creators, featuring works by Giannis Gaitis, Nikos Kessanlis, Georgia Lale, and Zafos Xagoraris, among others. Spanning varied mediums and personal styles, the collective works form a raw commentary on existential loneliness and socio-political pressures.
