STEGI.RADIO Takeover 2027
For two straight nights, the Onassis Foundation’s online music platform steps out from behind the airwaves and physically takes over the building. The STEGI.RADIO Takeover transforms Onassis Stegi into a multi-floor, audio lab and late-night gathering, blurring the lines between an adventurous music festival, live broadcasts, and an uninhibited club night.
What makes this takeover essential is its refusal to stay inside standard genre lanes. Curated with an ear for the underground and the unexpected, the line-up brings together international live acts, local producers, forward-thinking DJs, and sound artists. The programming flows seamlessly across spaces: you might wander from meditative modular synth sets and ambient soundscapes in one room straight into heavy sub-bass experiments, leftfield pop, and high-tempo club sets in another. Backed by live studio sessions and pop-up interventions throughout the venues and foyers, it showcases the raw variety, collaborative energy, and counter-cultural spirit driving contemporary independent radio today.
