Printed Athens Art Weekend
The Printed Athens Art Weekend is an absolute gem for anyone who loves independent design and the DIY spirit of the city. For its third year, the festival is taking over the Kypseli Municipal Market on Saturday, promising a creative spring afternoon.
If you haven't been to the Kypseli Market yet, this is the perfect excuse. The space will be packed with over 50 local graphic designers, illustrators, and screen printers, all showcasing their work in a vibrant, open-air setting. It’s a proper tribute to the graphic arts with limited-edition art prints, handmade posters, collectables, and streetwear brands you won’t find in the typical high-street shops.
You can watch live printing sessions, get stuck into creative workshops, or simply chat with the artists behind the designs. The vibe is brilliantly laid-back, and entry is completely free, with music and plenty of nearby spots on Fokionos Negri to grab a coffee or a beer once you’ve finished browsing.
