Tribute to Astor Piazzolla
Experience the passionate and revolutionary sounds of Astor Piazzolla at The Little Theatre of Ancient Epidaurus. The D Project, a troupe created especially for this concert by percussionist Dimitris Desyllas, will collaborate with seasoned performer Aliki Kayialoglou. Under the direction of conductor Miltos Logiadis, they will journey into the sensational world of Nuevo Tango, in a unique meeting of leading Greek musicians with the great Argentine composer. The Little Theatre of Ancient Epidaurus offers an intimate, acoustically perfect setting that amplifies the passion and emotion of Piazzolla’s music, a live performance as part of the Athens & Epidaurus Festival.
