Located atop the award-winning St. George Lycabettus Hotel, the newly renovated Vertigo Pool & Sunset Bar reopens its doors, welcoming guests into a setting of elevated aesthetics with breathtaking views — stretching from the Acropolis to the lush slopes of Lycabettus Hill. 

The new architectural identity of the space was crafted by the hotel’s in-house design team, led by Maria Papatriantafyllou, while the renowned New York-based interior designer Carlo Mota curated the overall aesthetic. The design philosophy focuses on blending the urban landscape with natural elegance: local Mediterranean flora, aromatic plants, and sun-drenched hues create an urban oasis that transforms each evening into the setting for Athens' most enchanting sunsets.

At the Sunset Bar, award-winning Executive Chef Stefanos Papanikolaou presents a refined menu inspired by Mediterranean summer cuisine. Light dishes and carefully crafted finger food served upon the signature handcrafted ceramic plates of Greek designer brand Crini @ Sophia, pair perfectly with refreshing cocktails and aperitifs.
