Optimum Greece DMC : Carré Destinations Show 2025: Discovering a Different Athens

Optimum Greece DMC had the pleasure of welcoming over 30 participants from leading French event agencies and 18 top travel professionals to Athens from April 3rd to 5th, for the 4th edition of the Carré Destinations Show. In collaboration with *This is Athens* and esteemed hospitality partners; we curated a 3-day immersive experience designed to foster networking and showcase Athens as a premier destination for corporate events—through a lens different from what guests may have envisioned or experienced during previous visits or events.

Every detail was crafted to highlight Athens not just as an ideal destination, but as a complete experience—authentic, welcoming, and fully tailored to the needs of corporate clients and their events.

Participants were hosted at two of the city’s most iconic hotels—the historic Grande Bretagne and the contemporary One&Only Aesthesis—as well as at a selection of exceptional restaurants and event venues, where they experienced
the timeless charm of Greek hospitality. The success of the event was reflected in the smiles, the conversations, and the excitement of every attendee.
