Aria Fine Catering: Welcomes FELASA 2025 with Authentic Greek Flavors

The 16th FELASA Congress took place this year in Athens, at the Megaron Athens International Conference Centre (MAICC), under the theme “Reducing Severity in Animal Research.” The congress focused on reducing severity in animal research, advancing training for both humans and animals, and promoting welfare in science. The choice of Athens carried special symbolism, as the city has long been associated with scientific thought and philosophy.

In this context, Aria Fine Catering welcomed 1,500 international delegates with an authentic experience of Greek culture and hospitality.

A highlight was the Olive Oil Bar, where delegates had the chance to taste Greece’s most renowned olive varieties and their derivatives. The menu further celebrated local flavors with concepts such as the “Souvlakeri”—serving the classic pita-wrapped souvlaki—“Kalamakeri”, and traditional ice cream carts offering mastiha ice cream.

The experience culminated in a dinner at the Zappeion Megaron, a landmark rich in history and symbolism, where Aria continued to serve refined Greek dishes.
