The Souljazz Orchestra
A jazz, afrobeat, latin fusion band from icy Ottawa spreading summer dance vibes in the middle of October in Athens. Nothing if not enticing. The Souljazz Orchestra have established a strong friendship with the Greek crowd throughout their 15-year-old career and they tend to honour it with every new release. Their latest afrobeat oriented LP, Chaos Theories, has just been released, so that calls for a proper Athenian celebration. Go for the guaranteed party mood, stay for the punk lyrics that often pack heavy punches on social issues like racism and police violence.
