ADAF 2026: Meta-Morphosis
You’ll see the industrial backdrop of Technopolis transformed into a living digital canvas as the Athens Digital Arts Festival returns for its 22nd year. This edition, themed "Meta-Morphosis," invites you to explore the shifting boundaries between nature and technology through a massive collection of installations, video art, and interactive performances. It is a four-day takeover where the city’s landmark gasworks becomes a meeting point for international artists, researchers, and artificial intelligence, all investigating how our world is being reshaped by climate change and technological acceleration.
The festival is designed to be fully immersive, so you can expect to move through augmented reality exhibitions, experimental workshops, and late-night music sets that blur the lines between the artificial and the natural. Whether you are curious about the latest in VR/XR or simply want to walk through the light-filled courtyards of Gazi, the experience is curated to be accessible to everyone, from digital experts to the casually curious. It is a rare chance to witness how complex, invisible processes like digital decay and regeneration are translated into tactile, visual experiences right in the heart of the city.
