Marking the 200th anniversary of the Exodus of Missolonghi, the Athens Symphony Orchestra and Choir present Yannis Markopoulos’ landmark work based on the poetry of Dionysios Solomos. This "Lyrical Liturgy" is one of the most significant pieces in the Greek canon, blending national history with a profound musical language. Directed and choreographed by Petros Gallias, the performance is a collaboration that brings together the Ionian spirit and the capital's premier musicians.
