There is a long-standing relationship between the Bernier/Eliades gallery and Italian artist Pier Paolo Calzolari which dates back to his first solo exhibition in 1978. The artist returns with Demons and Dew, his sixth exhibition at the Athenian gallery, featuring 20 brand new artworks where he uses salt, feathers, clover petals, and shells as sculptural elements. Considered one of the most important artists of the Arte Povera movement, he is known for his efforts to elevate everyday rituals to the level of aesthetic experiences. In addition to seeing his work, visitors will also have the opportunity to meet the artist himself during opening night. Looking for more galleries in Athens? Try out our updated guide.
