Last year's debut of ADD festival was crowned a success by the Athenian youth crowd. After all, what's not to like? The use of an abandoned airport as a festival playground? The free Uber rides from the nearest metro station? The cutting edge DJs and electronic acts that performed and the mind-blowing audiovisual installations? Athens' new big electronic music festival—curated by Onassis Stegi and six d.o.g.s—returns for its sophomore edition this May. And it's bigger. The festival will run for five days and will take part at the old Elliniko Airport as well as in various locations in the city that are yet to be announced and will also feature exhibitions, screenings, masterclasses and workshops. The first wave of artists announced includes: Alva Noto live, Anetha, Apollonia, Charlotte de Witte, Cirkle, DISCOSODOMA Soundsystem, DJ Shadow live, Eris Drew, FJAAK live, Figkott, Robert Hood w/ Floorplan, Folamour, Honey Dijon, Jan Blomqvist live, Kas:st live, Kobosil, Massimiliano Pagliara, Pantha Du Prince live, Paula Temple, Rebekah and Volvox. Stay tuned for updates.
